The Mothers of Memphis want to rock your socks off. A London band based in the Elephant & Castle, their highly infectious blend of punk, rockabilly, intense blues and deranged ska-tinged country entertains the following that is growing with every show. You'd only call them a "girl band" if you think the Ramones were a boy band. They like zombie movies, ambulances, train songs and brewing their own beer. Come to a gig and they'll give you a little badge, and you'll be singing their songs for days.
